Well my problem has been solved I read a bit more and found linkx that syskonnect had done a mix of an old driver with a recent one to make it work, and i also read some linux kernel dev saying that it was ugly and it would not be included in the kernel.
Until a few minutes ago my second nic based on marvel 88E worked perfectly with th sky2 driver. I haven’t done a thorough speedtest and I don’t know how to look into error logs so I don’t know if any of this is really causing a problem.
