I’m not sure its relevant but its a Dell XPS and yes there are always changing going on with the machine – Windows Updates, security updates, Microsoft Essential Updates etc, but this problem is not a new one so its not tied in to any recent updates or changes. Sometimes proper drivers do not get detected after the initial installation so reinstallation of the drivers helps resolve the issues. If this is a current HP win7 system the problem relates to your drivers assuming you havent installed any third party speedupmypc type of software. Is the mouse going bad???? Is the issue persists when you connect flash drive to different ports of your computer? I was able to find drivers for the X38 chipset del onboard Ethernet controller, but my last holdout is the onboard audio I’m not concerned about the MiniView screen.

My XPS came with two Gb drives. Chipset, Graphics, Sound, Network. For example I xpz read where you press a connect button. After that, you can post your question and our members will help you out. And then click on Control Panel.
